Do soutěže mužské dvouhry na tenisovém turnaji AEGON International 2014 nastoupilo dvacet osm hráčů. Obhájcem titulu byl třetí nasazený španělský tenista Feliciano López, finalista londýnského AEGON Championships, hraného v předcházejícím týdnu.
Singlovou soutěž vyhrál třetí nasazený Feliciano López, jenž ve finále zdolal nejvýše nasazeného francouzského hráče Richarda Gasqueta ve třech sadách 6–3, 6–7 a 7–5. Na okruhu ATP Tour tak získal první trofej v probíhající sezóně a celkově čtvrtou kariérní v singlu, když naposledy předtím vyhrál stejnou eastbournskou událost rok nazpět.
