American Truck Simulator je simulátor nákladní dopravy na území Severní Ameriky. Hru vytvořila česká společnost SCS Software, která stojí za úspěšnou hrou Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Vývoj
SCS Software oznámil práci na hře 6. září 2013.[1] Odhalení se konalo na výstavě E3 17. června 2015.[2]
11. dubna 2014 vývojáři z SCS Software oznámili, že ve hře bude přes 100 měst, a zveřejnili několik obrázků. Zpočátku budou v American Truck Simulatoru k dispozici dvě značky licencovaných nákladních vozů a to Kenworth a Peterbilt, ale další včetně Freightlineru a Volva budou následovat po získání licence. První dva státy jsou Kalifornie a Nevada, čtyři měsíce po vydání byla do hry přidána Arizona jako DLC zdarma. SCS plánuje postupně pokrýt celou Severní Ameriku včetně Kanady a Mexika. 26. ledna 2015 SCS Software zveřejnil na YouTube video z rozpracované hry. 18. prosince 2015 SCS Software na jejich blogu oznámil datum vydání American Truck Simulatoru, bylo stanoveno na 3. února 2016.[3]
Licencované nákladní vozy
SCS Software na svém blogu potvrdil, že Peterbilt 579 a Kenworth T680 budou první dva nákladní vozy dostupné v den vydání. Potvrdili také jednání se společností PACCAR o získání dalších vozů, jimiž jsou Kenworth W900 a Peterbilt 379.[4] Volvo VNL 780 je jedním z dalších kamionů, které budou později přidány do hry po boku Freightlineru Cascadia.[5][6][7]
Kenworth W900 byl přidán do hry 15. února 2016,[8] Peterbilt 379 byl přidán do hry 3. listopadu 2016[9] a Volvo VNL ke konci roku 2018.[10] Dalším tahačem který do hry přibyl, byl v závěru roku 2019 tahač International LoneStar.[11] Aktualizace hry z 28. dubna 2020 pak obsahuje tahač Mack Anthem.[12] Dalším přidaným tahačem byl 30. září 2020 Western Star 49X, který do hry přibyl zároveň s oficiálním představením tohoto modelu v reálném světě.[13] Dne 2. prosince 2020 byl do hry přidán Freightliner Cascadia.[14]
Státy
V den vydání byly dostupné první dva státy Kalifornie a Nevada. Arizona byla přidána krátce po vydání hry v podobě DLC zdarma (6. května 2016). Podle SCS však budou další přidaná DLC placená.[15]

The flag of Utah (2024-present). This is the final design submitted for consideration to be adopted as a new state flag of Utah. The design evokes images of snowy mountains and red rocks to represent the geography of Utah, the beehive represents "Industry" (the state's slogan) and Utah's nickname as "the Beehive State".

Flag of Oregon (obverse): The flag was adopted by the state on February 26, 1925.[1] The state seal was decided in 1903.[2][3]
Flag of California. This version is designed to accurately depict the standard print of the bear as well as adhere to the official flag code regarding the size, position and proportion of the bear, the colors of the flag, and the position and size of the star.
Flag of the State of Nevada. The flag is described in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 235, Sec. 20 as follows: The body of the flag must be of solid cobalt blue. On the field in the upper left quarter thereof must be two sprays of Sagebrush with the stems crossed at the bottom to form a half wreath. Within the sprays must be a five-pointed silver star with one point up. The word “Nevada” must also be inscribed below the star and above the sprays, in a semicircular pattern with the letters spaced apart in equal increments, in the same style of letters as the words “Battle Born.” Above the wreath, and touching the tips thereof, must be a scroll bearing the words “Battle Born.” The scroll and the word “Nevada” must be golden-yellow. The lettering on the scroll must be black-colored sans serif gothic capital letters.
