Barksdaleova letecká základna (anglicky Barksdale Air Force Base; kód IATA je BAD, kód ICAO KBAD, kód FAA LID BAD) je vojenská letecká základna letectva Spojených států amerických nacházející se přibližně 7,60 kilometrů jihovýchodně od města Bossier City ve státě Louisiana. Je domovskou základnou 2. bombardovacího křídla (2d Bomb Wing; 2 BW), která je podřízena velitelství Air Force Global Strike Command. 2 BW je vybavena strategickými bombardéry Boeing B-52 Stratofortress a představuje tak flexibilní bojovou sílu globálního měřítka, schopnou samostatného fungování nebo operací v součinnosti s ostatními složkami ozbrojených sil.
Tato letecká základna byla vybudována v roce 1932, tehdy pod názvem „Barksdale Field“. Pojmenována byla po Eugeneovi Hoy Barksdaleovi, leteckému veteránovi první světové války.

Significance
In the shape of a Tudor-arch shaped-shield, the emblem is divided into five perpendicular stripes. The colors of the stripes--black and primitive green--are those the Army Air Service bore during World War I. The three primitive green stripes represent the three major offensives in which the wing participated in World War I: St. Mihiel, Lorraine, and Meuse-Argonne. The white fleur-de-lis at the top symbolizes France, the theater of operations for the wing's World War I achievements. The lower portion of the shield is Air Force golden yellow, charged with four aerial bombs in ultramarine blue, not only representing the original four combatant squadrons (11th, 20th, 96th and 166th Aero Squadrons) but also suggesting the unit's present mission as a heavy bomb wing of Air Combat Command. Motto: Libertatem Defendimus (Liberty We Defend). The original motto, Mors et Destructio (Death and Destruction), was replaced on 15 April 1940 by current motto. [1]
B-52H bomber tail number 60-053 from the 2d Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, La. proudly displays the American flag as it taxis out on a local training mission.
