Betty Boop
Betty Boop je animovaná postava, kterou navrhl Grim Natwick na požadavek animátora Dava Fleischera[pozn. 1][2][3][4]. Původně se objevila v seriálu Talkartoon a filmové sérii Betty Boop, kterou produkovalo studio Fleischer Studios a vydalo studio Paramount Pictures. Byla ztvárněna také v komiksech a použita pro produkty masové podpory prodeje. Přestože bylo v polovině 30. let 20. století umírněna, aby působila více rezervovaně, stala se Betty Boop jednou z nejznámějších a nejpopulárnějších animovaných postav na světě.

Betty Boop character design, figure 1 from U.S. patent application D86224 "Design for a Doll or Similar Article". The original drawing was published on 9/24/1931, but my colored and modified version of the drawing was done on 2/4/2015. I colored the original black and white drawing, and I also altered the drawing a little bit. I lengthened the dress. I made the eyes more symmetrical. I shortened the lengthy eyelashes to model them after a more recent drawing of Betty Boop. I added green irises to the eyes which I modeled after a more recent drawing of Betty Boop. I fixed the unrealistic thicknesses of the knee joints. Lastly, I changed the thigh accessory to make it a heart design.
