Billie Jean King Cup 2024, oficiálně Billie Jean King by Gainbridge 2024, představuje 61. ročník tenisové soutěže ženských týmů v Billie Jean King Cupu, největší každoročně pořádané kolektivní události v ženském sportu. Generálním partnerem celé soutěže se pro období 2024–2027 stala americká pojišťovací agentura Gainbridge, která na této pozici nahradila bankovní dům BNP Paribas.[1]
Obhájcem titulu je Kanada, která se v roce 2023 po zisku prvního titulu stala třináctou vítěznou zemí soutěže.[2][3] Po ruské invazi na Ukrajinu v závěru února 2022 byly reprezentace Ruska a Běloruska vyloučeny ze soutěže.[4][5]
Mezistátní zápasy finále a zonálních skupin jsou hrány v jediný den do dvou vítězných bodů, s dvěma dvouhrami a závěrečnou čtyřhrou. Mezistátní utkání kvalifikačního kola a baráží probíhají do tří vítězných bodů v rámci dvou dnů, se čtyřmi dvouhrami a závěrečným deblem. Ve třetí rozhodující sadě všech dvouher následuje za stavu gamů 6–6 sedmibodový tiebreak. Kapitáni družstev mohou nominovat až pět hráček.[6] Prvním hracím termínem se stane týden od 8. dubna 2024, kdy jsou na programu soutěže 1. skupiny tří kontinentálních zón. Zároveň se mezi 12. a 13. dubnem koná kvalifikační kolo. Jeho vítězové postoupí do finálového turnaje hraného v listopadu, kdy proběhne i baráž.[6][7]

Kvalifikační kolo se koná 12. a 13. dubna 2024. Nastoupí do něj šestnáct týmů, které vytvoří osm párů. Jednotlivé dvojice odehrají vzájemná mezistátní utkání. Jeden z členů dvojice hostí duel na domácí půdě. Vítězové postoupí do finále a na poražené čeká baráž – obě fáze hrané v listopadu 2024 –, v níž se poražení střetnou s vítězi 1. skupin tří kontinentálních zón.[6][8]
Kvalifikačního kola se zúčastní šestnáct týmů:
- 8 týmů z 3.–12. místa ve finálovém turnaji 2023 (Česko získalo divokou kartu do finále a Španělsko automatickou účast v něm jako hostitel)
- 8 vítězů ze světové baráže 2023

Do baráže hrané v listopadu 2024 nastoupí šestnáct družstev, které vytvoří osm párů. Jednotlivé dvojice odehrají dvoudenní vzájemná mezistátní utkání do tří vítězných bodů ve formátu čtyř dvouher a závěrečné čtyřhry. Jeden z páru hostí duel na domácí půdě. Vítězové postoupí do kvalifikačního kola 2025 a poražení sestoupí do 1. skupin tří kontinentálních zón.[6]

According to the official website of Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee, Blue Sky(circle) & White Sun(triangles) above the Olympic rings is neither the National Emblem of the Republic of China, nor the Party Emblem of Kuomintang (KMT), but a design in between, where the triangles do not extend to the edge of the blue circle, as registered at International Olympic Committee in 1981 and digitally rendered in 2013. Besides, the blue outline of the five-petaled plum blossom is broader than the red one. Moreover, the CMYK code of the blue one and the Blue Sky & White Sun is "C100-M100-Y0-K0", and different from the Olympic rings (C100-M25-Y0-K0). Note that it's the only version recognized by IOC.
