Edward Livingston Wilson (18381903) byl americký fotograf, spisovatel a vydavatel.

Život a dílo

Ve Filadelfii v 60. letech 19. století pracoval pro Fredericka Gutekunsta a v roce 1864 založil magazín Philadelphia Photographer.[1] Sloužil jako energický důstojník Národní fotografické asociace Spojených států (National Photographic Association of the United States).[2] V roce 1869 se zúčastnil expedice "Eclipse Expedition" v Iowě, na kterou dohlížel Henry Morton[2] a v roce 1881 cestoval po Blízkém východě.[1] V New Yorku od roku 1889 vydával fotografický časopis Wilson's Photographic Magazine (Photographic Journal of America). Mezi jeho spolupracovníky patřili: Michael F. Benerman[3] a William H. Rau. Mezi čtenáře se řadil mimo jiné také fotograf Edward S. Curtis.[4]
