Mužská dvouhra Geneva Open 2017 probíhala ve druhé polovině května 2017. Do singlové soutěže ženevského tenisového turnaje nastoupilo dvacet osm hráčů. Obhájcem titulu byl třetí tenista světa Stan Wawrinka ze Švýcarska.
Vítězem se stal nejvýše nasazený Stan Wawrinka, jenž ve finále vyhrál nad německým kvalifikantem Mischou Zverevem po třísetovém průběhu 4–6, 6–3 a 6–3, když dokázal otočit nepříznivý vývoj. V probíhající sezóně si tak obhajobou připsal premiérové turnajové vítězství, které představovalo šestnáctý singlový titul na okruhu ATP Tour.[1]
