Typické jídlo z ghanské kuchyně se skládá ze škrobové přílohy a omáčky nebo polévky. Jednou z nejpopulárnějších ingrediencí v Ghaně jsou rajčata.

V Ghaně jsou velmi rozšířené malé restaurace zvané chop bars, v nichž se podává právě tradiční ghanská kuchyně.[1]

Etor is a dish by Akan ethnic group in Ghana. It is prepared with Plantain and or with yam boiled and mashed, and mixed with palm oil. Groundnuts (Peanuts)and Eggs provide are used to garnish the dish. In some cultures, it is prepared for people on their birthdays.
