John Lee Hooker (22. srpna 1917 Coahoma County, Mississippi21. června 2001) byl poválečný bluesový kytarista a zpěvák.

Narodil se roku 1917 v americkém státě Mississippi a bývá řazen mezi představitele delta blues, tedy nejranější podoby blues. Vydal řadu alb, k Hookerovým nejznámějším písním patří např. „Boogie Chillen'“ či „Boom Boom“. Byl bratranec bluesového zpěváka a kytaristy Earla Hookera. Jeho písně zazněly v počítačové hře Mafia II nebo filmu Vlk z Wall Street.
