John James Sykes (29. července 1959, Reading, Berkshire, Anglie, Spojené království – ?2024)[1] byl anglický kytarista a skladatel. Nejvíce známý jako zakladatel skupiny Blue Murder a pro spolupráci s hardrockovými skupinami Thin Lizzy a Whitesnake.
V pondělí 20. ledna 2025 bylo na sociálních sítích oznámeno, že zemřel během roku 2024 ve věku 65 let na rakovinu, se kterou dlouhodobě bojoval.[2][3]

A s student journalists, me and 3 mates obtained Press passes for the 1983 Reading Rock Festival in the UK. These scanned negatives were taken from the Press Pit over that weekend and are digitized here for the first time. The majority were taken by my colleague Andy Weaver, although the negatives have been in my possession ever since.
