Miss & Mister Deaf World (MMDW) je mezinárodní soutěž krásy, která každoročně korunuje mladé neslyšící ženy na "Miss Deaf World" a mladé neslyšící muže "Mister Deaf World", obvykle v Praze, v České republice.

Dějiny

MMDW je Nezisková organizace, která vznikla v roce 2001. Pořádají ji společnosti MISS DEAF s.r.o. a MISS - MISTER DEAF s.r.o. a jejich prezidentem je Josef Uhlíř.[1] Oficiálním jazykem soutěže je Mezinárodní znakový jazyk, a křišťálové koruny pro všechny finalisty jsou vyrobeny Astera s.r.o.

16. dubna 2019 Uhlíř smutně psal o odchodu inženýra Vladimír Žíla, generálního partnera světových soutěží, Miss & Mister Deaf World a Evropy a Asie a ředitele skla Astera.[2][3][4]

25. května 2019 se v Chorvatsku oženili Světová slečna 2017 a Mister Deaf Europe 2018.[5]

Vlajka České republiky. Podoba státní vlajky České republiky je definována zákonem České národní rady č. 3/1993 Sb., o státních symbolech České republiky, přijatým 17. prosince 1992 a který nabyl účinnosti 1. ledna 1993, kdy rozdělením České a Slovenské Federativní republiky vznikla samostatná Česká republika.
