Mistral (L9013) je vrtulníková výsadková loď Francouzského námořnictva, která je pojmenovaná podle větru Mistrál. Jedná se o vedoucí jednotku třídy Mistral.
Výzbroj
Mistral je vybavena dvěma dvojitými raketomety Simbad určené pro protiletadlové řízené střely Mistral. Dále jsou zde nainstalovány dva 30mm automatické kanóny Breda-Mauser a čtyři 12,7mm kulomety M2HB. Loď obvykle převáží 450 až 900 vojáků a 70 obrněných vozidel. Zvládne pojmout až 40 tanků Leclerc a několik výsadkových člunů (např. CTM).[1]
Vrtulníky
Mistral může nést 16 těžkých vrtulníků jako např. Eurocopter Tiger nebo 35 lehkých vrtulníků.

Royal Navy assault ship HMS Bulwark HMS Bulwark (foreground) is pictured with the French ship Mistral during Exercise Corsican Lion.
HMS Bulwark was taking part in Cougar, a three month deployment to the Mediterranean as part of the United Kingdom’s Response Force Task Group, exercising with key allies. Exercises included Corsican Lion, testing the maritime element of the UK-French Combined Joined Expeditionary Force (CJEF), and exercise Albanian Lion which will provide superb faculties for the Lead Commando Group to train with Albanian forces, consolidating the UK Albania relationship.

The Mistral (L9013) is an amphibious assault ship of the French Navy. She is capable of deploying 16 NH90 or Tigre, or 35 Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopters, four landing barges or two LCAC (Landing Craft Air Cushioned) and 70 vehicles, including 13-tank Leclerc battalion, with up to 450 soldiers (900 for a short period). She also features important hospital capabilities, and is able to accommodate a general staff.
The Mistral features a fully capable 69-bed hospital, with a triage room, a shock room, two surgery rooms, a room for treatment of burn injuries, a telesurgery room, and radiology equipments including a scanner. In normal time the ship has a medical doctor, two nurses, and 19 hospital beds. The helicopter hangar can be converted to a campaign hospital to improve medical capabilities. If needed, modular elements can be added to provide four surgical rooms and accommodate a 100-person medical team, including 12 surgeons.
