II. Bandera insignia: Insignias of the Supreme Command flags are rectangular, with a ratio between width and length of four by seven. When they are lifted, no other insignia should be raised. In smaller vessels, besides the flagship banner, a long and wide National Flag is carried: B. Visits to ships and establishments: the insignia of the Supreme Command flag is white, worn on its upper left quarter a National Flag, in its bottom left quarter five stars in gold, each having five points in a imaginary circle with a diameter equal to 10% of the length, centered and evenly distributed horizontally, and the right half of the center the shield of the Navy of Mexico, written in an imaginary circle with a diameter equal to the third its base. On that website, a post by Jordi Perez Ibañez dated 17 November 2006 describes the presidental standard of Tajikistan based on a Russian-language description at president.tj (archived version from 2007). According to that site, a las "on the symbols of the President of Republic Tajikistan" had been passed in July 2006, and the flag had first been used on 18 November 2006 at the inauguration of Emomali Rahmon as head of state.

The standard is based on the tricolour of the national flag, decorated with a golden threads on the fringe and measuring 2m x 1m.

The symbol is a depiction of the 'Derafsh Kaviani, the Sasanian royal standard.

Flag of Guyana with gold fringe. When hoisted with the fringe the flag is used as the Presidential Standard of Guyana. Used in this manner from 1999-2015, and 2020-present. The colours and construction based on the research documented at https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/gy.html and confirmed by a locally made flag (which is often fringed and hoisted to denote the arrival of the president) in my possession as well. Given the documented research regarding the colours and construction of the flag, this arrangement would be more accurate than the arbitrary - but now popular - flag of Guyana on Wikimedia/Wikipedia.
