Rok růžence
Rok růžence bylo období zavedené v katolické církvi od října 2002 do října 2003. Vyhlásil ho papež Jan Pavel II. na podporu rozjímání o významu svatého růžence.[1]
Oficiální vyhlášení roku bylo provedeno v textu apoštolského listu Rosarium Virginis Mariae (úvod, č. 3).[2]

As a bishop, Karol Woytila used this design with the cross and letter in black instead of gold. As this violated the heraldic "tincture's canon" (black on blue, color on color) upon his election as pope, Vatican heraldist Monsignor Bruno Bernard Haim suggested he replace black by gold (Raul Pardo, 2 April 2005, Joe McMillan, 20 April 2005).
