Rondal Partridge (4. září 1917 v San Franciscu - 19. června 2015 v Oaklandu)[1][2] byl americký fotograf a syn fotografky Imogen Cunninghamové.
Život a dílo
Byl úzce spojen s velkými fotografy Kalifornie své doby. Své matce začal pomáhat v temné komoře ve svých pěti letech. V sedmnácti se učil u Dorothey Langeové, v letech 1937 a 1938 pracoval s Anselem Adamsem v Yosemitském národním parku. Absorboval všechny možné techniky, které mu jeho učitelé mohli dát, ale stále si zachoval svůj vlastní pohled a přístup.[3]
Za téměř 70 aktivních let působil jako profesionální fotograf portrétů, životního prostředí, architektury a dokumenty zachycující historické momenty Kalifornie.[3]
Žil v Berkeley v Kalifornii.[3]

This girl came from the Oklahoma state three years ago and lives with her father in a rural slum in Wasco, Kern County, where they "settled." "We got mighty tired of roaming around." Because they have settled down, their jobs in peas, potatoes and cotton are obtained less by the hit-and-miss methods and more by knowing local contractors and independent farmers. They are now considered "locals" in the community in which they live. The girl never had a chance to finish high school and will be nineteen "come August 11." While the girl and her father are away from Wasco on jobs, they live in the trailer in which they came from Oklahoma
