Sancti Spíritus je kubánská provincie v centrální části ostrova. Jejím správním centrem je stejnojmenné město Sancti Spíritus. Provincie má plochu 6 777 km² a přibližně 465 000 obyvatel. Na západě sousedí s proviniciemi Villa Clara a Cienfuegos, na východě s Ciego de Ávila. Reliéf provincie je nížinatý. Provincii křižuje silnice Carretera Central táhnoucí se přes celý ostrov ve směru západ-východ. Ekonomika provincie je založena na zemědělství - produkce třtiny, rýže, tabáku, hovězího dobytku.
Provincie se skládá z 8 municipalit:

'Inside an oval, divided into two halves, the signs and forms that would speak to future generations of their god, their heroic actions, their customs and the extent of their territory were gathered in a beautiful composition.
On the red field of hope, abundance and freedom, the white dove, a symbol of purity and sincerity, rises with its outstretched wings, occupying the upper part of the oval, which represents the Holy Spirit, the patron and titular of the city.
The letters N and S that appear in the lower part occupied by the sea, with the sun rising on the horizon, show that the territory of Espirituano included from the Caribbean Sea, to the south, to the Old Channel of the Bahamas, to the north; and the motto "My loyalty refined", which appears on the silver sash, refers to the fidelity kept by its City Council to Spain, when in 1762 the English seized Havana.'Autor: TUBS
