Těhotenský test je spolehlivou a snadnou pomůckou pro zjištění těhotenství.
Princip testu
Těhotenský test lze provést analýzou vzorku ženské moči nebo krve. Test vyhodnocuje přítomnost lidského hormonu choriogonadotropinu (hCG). Tento hormon začíná být produkován placentou v momentě, kdy se vajíčko uhnízdí v děloze. Během čtyřiadvaceti hodin se produkce hCG zdvojnásobí. Hormon hCG se ukáže nejprve v oběhovém systému a o pár dní později i v moči ženy.[1] Čas implantace však není totožný s datem početí. Průnik spermie vajíčkem se uskuteční v průběhu ovulace. Implantace proběhne většinou po šesti i více dnech po početí.[2]
Test z moči
Těhotenský test zjišťuje hladinu hCG v moči a vyrábí se v několika citlivostech na přítomnost hormonu. Nejcitlivější z testů by mohl zaznamenat zvýšenou hladinu hCG již týden po uhnízdění vajíčka na děložní sliznici, lékaři však doporučují provést test z moči nejdříve v den očekávané menstruace anebo po jejím vynechání. K testu je nejvhodnější použít první ranní moč.[1]
Test z krve
Test z krve si může provést každá žena doma sama. Krev se odebírá vpichem do bříška prstu. Test dokáže rozpoznat graviditu již osmý až devátý den po oplodnění a lze jej uskutečnit kdykoliv během dne.[1]
Vyhodnocení testu
Testovací proužek má dvě zóny – kontrolní a testovací. Zobrazení kontrolní čárky znamená, že test je negativní. Zobrazení kontrolní i testovací čárky znamená pozitivní výsledek. Při zobrazení pouze testovací čárky nebo žádné je test neplatný.[3]
Falešný výsledek těhotenského testu
- Falešně pozitivní výsledek mohou způsobit některá onemocnění (např. nádorová onemocnění, cysty na vaječnících), podávání hormonálních léků k vyvolání ovulace, nebo se může objevit po porodu, potratu a kyretáži.[3]
- Falešně negativní výsledek může způsobit příliš zředěná moč nebo krev, nebo užívání některých léků zejména diuretik nebo antihistaminik.[1]

Design:
The logo is basically unicolor, most often a slate or medium blue, but this design uses a slightly lighter shade of blue for the outer outline of the cross, and the outlines of the rod and of the snake. The background is transparent (but the star includes a small inner plain white outline). This makes this image usable and visible on any background, including blue. The light shade of color for the outlines makes the form more visible at smaller resolutions, so that the image can easily be used as an icon.
This SVG file was manually created to specify alignments, to use only integers at the core 192x192 size, to get smooth curves on connection points (without any angle), to make a perfect logo centered in a exact square, to use a more precise geometry for the star and to use slate blue color with slightly lighter outlines on the cross, the rod and snake.
Finally, the SVG file is clean and contains no unnecessary XML elements or attributes, CSS styles or transforms that are usually added silently by common SVG editors (like Sodipodi or Inkscape) and that just pollute the final document, so it just needs the core SVG elements for the rendering.
