Vaughan
Lokalizace města Vaughan
Vaughan (anglická výslovnost: [ˈvɑːn]IPA, Von) je město v provincii Ontario v Kanadě. Nachází se severně od Toronta a k roku 2006 zde žilo 238 866 obyvatel.[2] Vaughan je nejrychleji se rozrůstající kanadskou municipalitou;[3] od roku 1991 téměř zdvojnásobil svůj počet obyvatel. Je součástí regionu York v rámci Velkého Toronta. Starostkou města je k roku 2010 Linda Jackson.

The City of Vaughan flag was raised for the first time at a ceremony on May 2nd, 1988, following a contest organized by Vaughan’s Industrial Advisory Board. Designed by then 15-year-old Vaughan student Michael Vite, the flag features a white field and four blue stripes representing the four main communities of Vaughan at the time: Kleinburg, Maple, Thornhill and Woodbridge. The four stripes are joined together at the centre with the symbol of Canada, the red maple leaf.
