Vlajky Rakouska-Uherska

Císař František Josef I. s vlajkami obou částí monarchie

Vlajka Rakouska-Uherska nebyla nikdy oficiálně zavedena pro spory mezi rakouskou a uherskou částí monarchie. Každá z obou částí používala vlajku svou.

Kromě toho užívalo Rakousko-Uhersko řady dalších odvozených a služebních vlajek.

Flag of the Triune Kingdom of Croatia. This flag with the Coat of Arms was used internally for usage in autonomic affairs and was officially prescribed to depict the Hungarian Crown of St. Stephen above the shield, but the unofficial design depicted here using another type of crown was most often used instead. The same flag without the Coat of Arms was used as a Civil Flag.

With the inspiration and the main goal to recreate the 1806 infantry pattern shown here, this turned out a mixed work based on the three sources. I took the mainwork from the Imperial standard of 1828, added the eagle listed and used the order of the CoAs from the Hugo Gerhard Ströhl work. All in all, perhaps a bit of an anachronism, but it nevertheless looks cool.
