Maserati 6C 34 in 1935 with Achille Varzi (left) and Amedeo Bignami. This is probably 1935. One person (in the source posting on Facebook)[1] thinks this is chassis 3026. Very likely, since it has head lamps, cycle fenders and different rear, does not look like the other 6C 34. If so, it was the third 6C 34 that Maserati sold off to a team called Scuderia Subalpina. It was reconstructed since 1980s and been on shows.[2]

Achille Varzi byl italský motocyklový a automobilový závodník. Začínal jako motocyklový závodník, od roku 1926 začal závodit i s automobily. Jezdil za Scuderia Nuvolari (Bugatti), Automobiles Ettore Bugatti, SA Alfa Romeo, Scuderia Ferrari, Maserati a Auto Union. V letech 1929-1930 a 1934 získal titul mistra Itálie.
