During the meeting, the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia, Ambassador Mohamed El-Amine Souef, briefed the Speaker of Parliament on the progress in implementing the ATMIS mandate. The Speaker of Parliament Sheikh Adan also briefed the ATMIS officials on the federal parliament's oversight role and progress made in passing laws for the country.
