Chilean ship Almirante Latorre (FFG 14) sails forward while members of its vessel boarding search and seizure (VBSS) team make an approach to USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) and prepare to engage in VBSS exercises during UNITAS 48-07 Pacific phase June 25, 200 7, while under way in the Pacific Ocean. The multinational naval exercise develops and tests the participating navies' capabilities to respond to a wide variety of maritime missions as a unified force. Třída Jacob van Heemskerck je třída fregat nizozemského královského námořnictva. Skládá se z jednotek Jacob van Heemskerck (F 812) a Witte de With (F 813), postavených loděnicí Royal Schelde v De Schelde a zařazených do služby v roce 1986. Celá třída je protiletadlovou variantou fregat třídy Kortenaer. Jsou určeny zejména k velení protiponorkovým skupinám a jejich protiletadlové obraně. V roce 2005 byly obě fregaty prodány do Chile.
