An-chuej je vnitrozemská provincie Čínské lidové republiky. Nachází se ve východní Číně, v oblasti povodí řeky Chuaj a dolního toku Jang-c’-ťiang, a sousedí s provinciemi Ťiang-su, Če-ťiang, Ťiang-si, Chu-pej, Che-nan a Šan-tung. Při celkové rozloze 140 139 km² se An-chuej řadí mezi nejmenší čínské provincie, resp. jedná se o 22. největší administrativní celek provinční úrovně. V roce 2020 populace An-chueje přesáhla 61 milionů, a je tak 8. nejlidnatější, a 6. nejhustěji zalidněnou provincii. Hlavním a zároveň největším městem provincie je Che-fej.
