Berlin memorial plaque for Nelly Sachs, Lessingstraße 5 (former no. 33), 10555 Berlin, Germany; placed at the entrance of Hansachule, the residential building was destroyed by bombings during the Second World War. Unveiled in May 1995. Ca. 40 x 60 cm, made from china of the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM) (Royal China Manufacture)

In 1940 she emigrated to Stockholm.

For her work, such as

"Ride into the dustless", "Signs in the sand",

"Glowing riddle",

she was awarded the Noble Price for Literature in 1966.
