Forn Sed: A simple altar in form of a cloth on the ground and a simple cult image depicting Njord (Njorðr, Njörður), the Norse god of the Sea, at a special blót directed to Njord on 12th May 2009 at Brännö in the Gothenburg arcipilago, Sweden. The cult image was made from driftwood on the spot. The picture was taken before the ceremony started so the votive offerings was still hidden under the cloth. The participants were members of the Swedsih Asatru Assembly (now Forn Sed Sweden).
