PHILIPPINE SEA - A Chetak Helicopter from the Indian ship Rajput class destroyer INS Rana (D 52) prepares to land onto the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63). Stethem is participating in MALABAR, a bilateral U.S. Navy and Indian Navy exercise that is designed to increase interoperability between the Indian and U.S Navies enhancing the cooperative security relationship between India and the United States.
