Spojené království Velké Británie a Severního Irska, standardizovaným krátkým názvem Velká Británie a Severní Irsko, zkráceně také Spojené království nebo Velká Británie nebo jen Británie, je ostrovní stát v severozápadní Evropě, u severozápadního pobřeží kontinentální Evropy.
