Built in 1810 by John Heckewelder, this Federal-style house was later altered in the early 20th Century with Arts and Crafts elements. The house features a stucco-clad exterior, side gable roof, six-over-six and nine-over-six double-hung windows, exposed rafter ends and brackets, and a central entryway with a transom and decorative wood trim surround with a brick stoop. The building is presently home to the Bach Choir of Bethlehem. The house is a contributing structure in the Central Bethlehem Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and expanded to include additional buildings in 1988.
