The HMDS Knud Rasmussen, a Royal Danish Navy patrol vessel, transits off the bow of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Juniper, homeported in Newport, R.I., during a towing exercise while underway off Greenland's west coast Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. The exercise was conducted as part of an Arctic deployment to enhance interoperability with international forces and to provide the experience of working and responding to incidents in the harsh Arctic environment.
