The section to the right translates as:

Musa Mali, Lord of Guinea. So abundant is the gold which is found in his country that he is the richest and most noble king in all the land.[1]

Literally, in the text he is called musse melly.

Músa Keita I byl desátý Mansá, což lze nejlépe přeložit jako „král králů“ nebo „císař“, bohaté západoafrické Říše Mali. V době Músova nástupu na trůn se Říše Mali skládala z území dříve patřícího pod Ghanskou říši, dnes Mauritánie, Melle (Mali), a sousedících území. Músovi náleželo mnoho titulů, včetně Mellského emíra, Pána wangarských dolů nebo Dobyvatele Ghanaty. Během své pouti do Mekky výrazně přispěl k rozšíření islámu v severní Africe a na Blízkém východě.
