U.S. Navy sailors man the rails as officers stand beneath the RIM-67 Standard SM-2 ER missiles in the Mark 10 launcher aboard the guided missile cruiser USS Josephus Daniels (CG-27). The crew is preparing for Rear Admiral (lower half) John R. Dalrymple, commander, South Atlantic Force, who will board his flagship for the start of Unitas XXXI, an annual, joint exercise between the U.S. Navy and the naval forces of nine South American countries.

Třída Belknap byla třída raketových křižníků Námořnictva Spojených států amerických. Tvořilo ji devět jednotek, postavených v letech 1962-1967. Americké námořnictvo je provozovalo mezi lety 1964-1995. Jako poslední byl v únoru 1995 vyřazen USS Belknap.
