Pershing I missile. From the source: This two-stage ballistic missile was highly mobile, had a selective range capability and replaced the Redstone missile as the Army's "Sunday Punch." Testing of this nuclear capable missile at White Sands involved off range firings from Fort Wingate, N.M. and several locations in southern Utah like Green River.

MGM-31 Pershing byla americká balistická raketa nahrazující rakety Redstone. Mohla být vybavena jadernou hlavicí. Podle amerického kódového označení z roku 1962 šlo o řízenou střelu odpalovanou z mobilního prostředku (vozidla) určenou k ničení povrchových cílů. Dle verze se jednalo o střelu krátkého či středního doletu. Pojmenována byla podle amerického vojevůdce Johna J. Pershinga. .. pokračovat ve čtení
