SEATTLE - The Russian Border Guard vessel Vorovskiy, arrives here in Seattle, for the conclusion of Pacific Unity 2009, Aug. 26, 2009. The Vorovskiy's visit marks the first by a Russian Border Guard vessel to the lower 48 states. The Vorovskiy is participating in Pacific Unity 2009, a coordinated North Pacific Coast Guard Forum scenario focused on demonstrating the partner nations' ability to provide maritime assets during an exercise occurring in the Pacific Northwest.

Projekt 1135 Burevestnik je lodní třída raketových fregat sovětského námořnictva z doby studené války. Hlavním úkolem lodí této třídy byl protiponorkový boj. Celkem bylo postaveno 40 fregat ve verzích Krivak I, II a III. Jeden kus nebyl dostavěn. Po rozpadu SSSR připadla většina plavidel ruskému námořnictvu a pobřežní stráži, přičemž několik jich získalo také ukrajinské námořnictvo.
