Antoine François Jean Claudet byl francouzský fotograf, umělec a vynálezce, který zhotovoval fotografie metodou daguerrotypie. Podílel se na technickém rozvoji fotografických technik. Narodil se v Lyonu a působil převážně ve Velké Británii; zemřel v Londýně. Byl studentem Louise Daguerra.
