in a bath made by dissolving onepart of formalin in ten parts of water to super-harden thegelatine film. Then the surface is mopped off with a wad ofwet absorbent cotton to remove surface dirt and specks ofgelatine. They are then stood on edge on pieces of blotter todrain and dry. If hardened in formahn they can be put in fullhot summer sunshine to dry rapidly usually in ten minutes orso.
