Kokosový ostrov je ostrov v Pacifiku, který se nachází přibližně 550 km od kostarického pobřeží. Administrativně je součástí provincie Puntarenas. Má rozlohu 24 km2. První Evropan, který objevil ostrov, byl v roce 1526 Juan Cabezas. Jediné lidské osídlení ostrova je stanice Guardaparques Wafer, který se nachází na severu ostrova v zátoce Wafer.
