Two Iraqi Mil Mi-17-V5 Hip Helicopters stand by Dec. 20 for an aeromedical evacuation mission from the Air Force Theater Hospital at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Three Iraqi patients were transported from Balad to the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad. This was the second time the Iraqi air force has conducted an aeromedical evacuation from Balad.
