Boston, Mass. (June 9, 2005) - The USS LST 325, a vintage World War II tank landing ship arrives in the Boston Harbor escorted by the Coast Guard. LST 325 will participate in the 63rd Annual WWII Commemoration Ceremony, designed to give WWII veterans a chance to reunite with their shipmates and receive recognition for their courage and patronage. The ship made history when it took part in the “D-DAY” invasion of Normandy. LST 325 will be open for tours through June 20, 2005.
