Oaxaca is participating in exercise UNITAS Gold, an annual multinational exercise to train maritime forces and promote maritime security and stability in the region. Participating nations include Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico, Peru, U.S. and Uruguay.
