Messrs. Laird of Birkenhead 27 March 1865

The launch took place on in front of 30,000 spectators, Mrs. John Laird named her. Agincourt undocked with the assistance of six steam tugs, the Cruiser, Sea King, Iron King, Blazer, Hercules, and Emperor.
