A Parachute, as a rescue device in Airplanes. The successful test was conducted at the Eiffel Tower in Paris with a dummy weighing 75 kilograms (165 lb). The device weighed 21 kilograms (46 lb). The length of the rope was 9 metres (30 ft). The aviator hangs in the designated rack to which the parachute is attached. The future will show if a device like this will deploy in time, or if the aviator can access it in time and has the courage and presence of mind to leave his machine.
