The questioned shoeprint is similar in size, shape, design and layout to the known shoe. Numerous class characteristics are shown:
- Both the shoeprint and shoe is split into 9 lateral sections.
- The shoeprint is divided longitudinally into 2 by a curved gap that runs from toe to heel. The location and shape of the gap corresponds to a deep flex groove that is present on the shoe.
- 4 circular patterns on the medial side of the heel section of the shoeprint and shoe.
- brs1000 marking present in heel section on lateral side on the heel section of the shoeprint and shoe.

Wear characteristics: The questioned shoeprint shows wears characteristics that is similar to that of the known shoe.
- Very little wear on lateral edge in the fore foot section of the shoeprint and shoe.
- Numerous similarities in wear in the ball section of the shoeprint and shoe.
