L-shaped, one storey, residential corner building. Stone framed arch gate with keystone. Built on the ruins of the Middle Age Jewish houses in the 18th century. Current facade got in 1982. Remodelled in 1910. After siege of 1944 reconstructed in 1964. This was a property and homr of the Apponyi family in the first half of the 20th century. Facade here lived plaque to Count Apponyi with inscription: ~'From 1904 until his death in 1933, the statesman Count Albert Apponyi lived in this house, his son representative Count Albert Apponyi de Nagyapponyi, was taken from here in March 1944 by the Gestapo to Mauthausen. They faithfully served their country' - This building was a participiant of the 'Budapest 100 2022' event - Part of the Budapest World Heritage protected architectural ensembles - 17 Táncsics Street = 1 Babits Mihály Alley, Várnegyed neighborhood, District I of Budapest.
