Die Schmerzenskapelle linksseitig der Piaristenkirche Maria Treu am Jodok-Fink-Platz im 8. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Josefstadt.
Nachdem die Piaristen 1697 in Wien ansässig geworden waren, wurde im Zuge des Klosterbaues auch die Schmerzenskapelle errichtet. Die Grundsteinlegung am 2. September 1698 erfolgte durch Kaiser Leopold I. und ausgeführt wurde der Bau vom Maurermeister Simon Andreas Karafee (Carove) mit seinem Polier Donatus d'Allio.
Nachdem die Piaristen 1697 in Wien ansässig geworden waren, wurde im Zuge des Klosterbaues auch die Schmerzenskapelle errichtet. Die Grundsteinlegung am 2.
